Malahide & Rogerstown estuaries

has any one got any advice on these marks , i fished malahide quite a lot last year tried every possible combination of tides, condtions, time ect with very little success, mostly i was using wirex spinners, rapala lures, i even tried fly fishing could a clouse minnow in a strong on shore breeze!
my main aim were the sea-trout whiche could be seen jumping in the channel.
would appreciate any help or advice. thanks
