People:11 members of CBARSAC

Duration:8.00pm to 1.00am

Tide:goin out

Weather:nice very nice

Bait:rag, lug, mackeral, peeler crab and sandeel

Rigs:3 & 2 hook flappers & clipped

Results:doggies, flounders, turbot, pollock, coalies, plaice and a salmon

Report:in this complete angler compo i came first with a bag of 5 doggies and a good coalie of 36cm all my fish fell to sandeel, mac or peeler crab...2nd was Alan Rodgers with a flounder a turbot and a coalie and 3rd was Brian Taylor with a bag of doggies just beatin julie scot for 3rd place. my fiance Vicki also had here first 2 doggies which deserves a mention..myself, vicki, john & julie & stacey scott, stuart langridge and wee stu all stayed and camped out on the beach and continued fishin which resulted in me nailin a further 3 doggies (a single and a double shot) and also a salmon which fell to sandeel at distance and john scott had a crackin plaice of 37cm...we then dicided on a move to garron point where julie scott caught a conger of around 5lb and we and vicki both had a doggie each...so it was an interestin 24hrs fishin..but was a good bit of craic :D :D

hopefully have some pic of the fish soon
