Hi all,
I'll be heading up to around the Maghery/dungloe area of donegal at the weekend and just wondering if anyone has any info on the place?
Go up there every year so know it a bit of info but anything would be great.
Will be restricted to within a max of 20min-1/2 an hour drive of dungloe but mostly will just fish around Maghery area ( travel by foot/bike).
We will also no doubt be visiting one of the islands off here, gola, tory etc
shall stock up on tackle b4 as the shop on the Main street is pretty expensive. Plan to spin for pollock a bit with sandeels, the ones in the shop aren't great quality but will this make a difference for spinning or am I better off buying some ammo sandeel b4 I travel?
Any info would be much appreciated. :D 8)

p.s. I was going to bring up some frozen peeler but heard its wasted in donegal, and just to stick with worm for cod, is this true?

That would see you straight. You could even use Donegal Harbour or Killybegs, won't be much of a difference.
