Hi Folks,

Anyone know where I can get a reasonably priced 12lb class boat rod.

Cheers,

Derek in Guileen Tackle down this end was/is doing Diawa Vertice 8lb class rods at about €50.00. Lovely rod. 7' Long, light as a feather. Has trigger grip as well.

PM if you want his number.

Failing that check out the deals around on a Tidecutter 6-12. Class rod.

Jim is this the Daiwa Vulcan X with a new name? Sounds very similar. Brilliant rod!

Yeah Luke,
Same blank, the Vertice is the current model.

Every boat angler should have something like it!

Cheers for the replies lads.

I was hoping to find a rod at 6ft long. I find a 7ft rod to be a bit big for my wee 14ft boat with cuddy.
