People: Lee337 & Me
Duration: 22.00 - 02.30
Tide: HT @ 00.25
Weather: Calm and still
Bait: Rag, mack and sandeel
Rigs: Pulley, 3 hook scratcher and conger rig
Results: V. poor - 1 x LSD
Report:
We headed out for a few hours last night, the weather conditions were good and should have resulted in more fish - one thing we didn't consider was the full moon which we put down to the poor show of fish.
We started and Skernigan Point where I picked up the LSD, something also hammered Lee and managed to break off his 6oz lead and a weak link   but no fish hooked
We then moved to Portmuck harbour but only suffered a lot of bait stealing by the crabs
Lee managing a blank session did raise a smile though

I was at Cushendun Fishing that night and produced nothing all night, the tide pattern was very strange, for a full tide (3.5) it didnt seem to act as a high tide,it would come into your feet a couple of times but then stay out (very weird),i was having to walk down into the surf more or less to get decent distance into the sea. After 3-4 hours of nothing and lots of weed i gave up and went for a sleep in the tent.i fished Cushendall on the way home but that was as bad, noone was catching and people started leaving.

Just to let everyone know, GG has come up with a novel way of stopping the crabs demolishing his conger baits, he SPINS a mackerel head for them
