Hi Paul,
You're in for a great week—Brandon area has some brilliant shore marks. I stayed near Cloghane a couple of years back and found a place through a local contact. If you're open to something just outside Brandon, try checking in with local pubs or shops—they often know of cottages available that aren't listed online. Best of luck and tight lines!

Plenty of spots in Brandon. From the Pier in brandon its Flats and mackerel, Beach to the right can throw up bass and the usuall flats, Cloghane eastury is seatrout and bass with good flounder fishing the bottom and the odd painted ray. The stretch of beach from ferymoyle to the maharees is all bass flats and painted ray, as you get to the maharees then it changes to rocky ground so you get plenty of pollack and wrasse all around there. Garrywilliam to rough point are all this area with a stretch of beach in the middle that is dogs and some thornies, moving round rough point you are then in tralee bay and alsmost all beaches here have bass painted and thornies with some huss and stingers mixed in there too.
