Looks like its going to be as wet inside the boat as outside but hey low waves and winds and the first trip of the year, so I will post a report over the next couple of days.
Entries now open for the All Ireland Shore Cod Championships on November 29th hosted by Sea Angling Ireland SAC

Weather forecast a bit off today. Wind was southerly and quite strong so the waves were only 2-3 f but quite choppy. The drift was also a bit too quick but over the reefs still managed 14 pollock from 1 to 9 pound, 3 coalie, 2 codling. All in all a good day but it was cold as temperature was 5 degrees. We were worried about getting wet all day as forecast predicted this but only saw rain away in the distance.

Fair Play!
At least ye got out. Any day you catch a 9lb pollack is a good day! It is early yet.
