Hi guys.A friend of mine sent me a picture of a Porpoise(at least I think it’s a Porpoise)that was washed up on the beach between Shankill and Bray a few weeks ago and was just wondering what you guys think took a bite out of it.My best guest would be a Porteagle shark.Can’t think of anything else that would be big enough in the Irish Sea to do this.Porpoise washed up on beach

That looks like a white sided dolphin to me. Not sure but propose has a steeper head I think.
Send pics to the Irish Dolphin and Whale group based in Clare. They will give you more info and perhaps what might have damaged it. Do a Google search and you will find them and a report function.
