Killoughter Beach

#1 Post by stek152 »

When: 21/09/2022
Duration: 7pm until 12am
Tides: Fishing into hightide
Bait: sand eel / Mac
Result: 5 whiting / 2 flat fish / 6 dogs

Rods in the water around 7ish - both fishing 2 rods 2nd rod fishing a large mak bait far.

Changing baits very regularly due to presence of crabs nothing happening until around 8ish started with the whiting.

Quiet until around 8.45 my rod with large bait bent over and then went limp. Nothing on but bait was gone.

Quiet again until around 10.30 when the dogs came on.

Wind started picking up and the weed came on then.

Not a bad night.

Nice to be out
