The Safe, Rosslare Harbour, 9th July

#1 Post by MESSER »

People:Gerry and me

Duration: 5 hours, 9 am to 2 pm

Tide: High at 9am

Weather: Very Windy, sunny

Bait: Sandeel, Mackeral, Fresh Rag, Squid

Rigs: 2 hook flapper, Pennell for Mack. baits

Results:First time fishing this mark.

Dogfish, Dogfish, Dogfish. Although two 4 pounders on one rig on lightish tackle is good craic.

Couldnt go on the boats from Kilmore, too windy, but couldnt go home either.

Could any Wexfordians tell me what this mark fishes like? Have seen competitions here, must be good sometimes

two 4 lb doggies at once....... that would be good even on boat gear...they are hard enough to come across at that weight most of the time.
Not the BigPhil from Irish Angler mag, I'm the original, i swear!!!!
