Connemarra beaches

Hi

New to the forum trying to get back into sea fishing on the west coast .. taking my 5 year old tomorrow eve and in a toss up between lettergesh and gurteen beach .. anyone any advice i will be using my 12 ft pike rods but should be able for a 70 yard cast .

Lettergesh usually holds a few flats - gurteen can be hit and miss - more dogs and odd ray

Cheers mate .. just fish around the campsite ? Will prob stay there anyway

if you are on about lettergesh - yep fish around the campsite side
