Life jacket

#1 Post by ESC+RC »

Hi Guys.Does anyone know of a automatic life jacket that is comfortable to wear while lure fishing.Have tried two auto life jackets but have found them to be uncomfortable and annoying to wear to the point that I took them off.Where i fish is quite exposed and can be very unpredictable to say the least.Did see a waist life jacket but it was manual.Has anyone used these.Might get one of these if nothing else turns up.Thanks in advance.

I see you are Wicklow based. Head for Marine Parts Direct and try on some of the various makes. Ch Marine in Cork have a great range of makes and styles too.

Hi JimC.Thanks for the advice.Got sorted.Went with a Deckvest lite. It’s a lot more compact and fits a lot better and the seller insured me after a while I won’t notice I’m wearing it.Just wished I had got this in the first place.Ah well sorted now.
