Best lures for starting out shore fishing for bass
I've just gotten back into fishing in the last year or so and been mostly shore fishing down around the Waterford. I haven't been having much luck on the fish front unfortunately, but still enjoying any time spent out fishing!
I'm just wondering what people's go to lures are for bass fishing or what are the ones you'd always have in your bag?
Thanks for any advice!

These are excellent along with the black minnow.
Like gold dust but plenty on the way to him over the next few weeks.

Ardinn is quite right when he says The Black Minnow. Nobody should leave home with a few different weights in their bag.
The same could be said for the Kilty Catcher in 32g
Of course don't forget the hard lures: a Feed Shallow is a great all round bass l;ure.

Just to add to above suggestions, if you have a bit of depth where you won't snag up too easy savage gear sandeels work well and if you are fishing through really shallow snaggy ground try a do live stick on a weedless hook. Main part is finding feeding fish

Savage gear seeker is a great lure, have caught pollock on them and they cast further than any other lure that you can cast on a light spinning rod because they are so aerodynamic

28 gram savage gear seekers have been very good for me this year around east cork. These seem a favorite of the sea trout and bass
Evo bass lure sabre in the 150 is also excellent (white or charzar) and they also entice the odd pollock etc.
I like the black minnow in the natural colours too .always seem to save a blank on those I find the heavier minnows better 20gram upwards.
42 gram sandy andys in pink are another great lure if conditions are bright

Get a live prawn under a float, you'll never touch a lure again.
