Haven’t fished north Dublin at all this year yet, did fish it a lot this time last year, started getting them the second week of April last year.

Spent a couple hours out there tonight with peeler, baits coming back untouched, still a bit early I guess
2025 shore species: Bass (1), Dogfish (1), Flounder (4), Whiting (4)
2025 hours fishing on shore: 40

Conditions look good for Wednesday/Thursday,I’ll try a spot that produced last year might be a bit early but ye never know ,nice easterly on the way

Fished from low tide up to 11 tonight, no signs of life
2025 shore species: Bass (1), Dogfish (1), Flounder (4), Whiting (4)
2025 hours fishing on shore: 40

Gave a North Dublin beach a go at the weekend, not a bite, baits untouched, Gannets absolutely hammering bait fish 100 yards offshore, fantastic to watch all the same

Was out last night for a few hours, just had a few whiting, waters still a little cold I think

i have seen the odd one caught in late april but may is generally the time to expect them. with the hounds about too :)

There was 2 bass caught in North Dublin tonight, not me but someone I know

Would I be wrong to say conditions are perfect for them this week? NE winds, 0.5m swell, 10C water temp, new moon on saturday
