one of the best things I've ever bought is a proper spinning rod. Casts a way longer than the rod bait rod I was using before rated for 3oz weight and 11 ft long lovely for spinning and float fishing.

imho. :)

oh nothing spectacular, got it off ebay its an 11ft d.a.m. seabass rated to cast 1-3 ounces.When it got it first I didn't like the look of it but now I think its perfect! :) it wasn't even dear .... €50 to my door.
