Beach Tripod

Looking into buying one, any advice on what to look out for? Theres some going for about 40€ online. Any do's and don'ts would be greatly appreciated. Cheers

I have a daiwa one that is too big and awkward to carry anywhere so i only use it off piers. The wee blue Shakespeare salt is hard to beat. Have it years. Brilliant bit of kit. Folds down small and easy to carry.

have used a ian golds match tripod for years now and had no problems with it

Ian golds wouldnt use anything else to be honest

Cheers lads. What size should I be looking at? Would 6ft twin cover 12ft rods?. Thanks

If you think you might be fishing from piers and rocks often, you might want to buy one with a leg lock
2025 shore species: Bass (1), Dogfish (1), Flounder (4), Whiting (4)
2025 hours fishing on shore: 40
