Some lads are making the odd trip in east cork and about the place. I've seen one picture of a nice bass from one chap. Most bass lads are only chucking a lure to keep sane rather than being confident in catching.
We will get some schoolies from the boat around the harbour if the water is clear enough. We were getting good action with pollack and cod offshore before christmas, not been out yet in the new year.

Thinking of heading out tomorrow morning, hoping for clear water but probably won't..

If the water is clear there’s always a chance of a seatrout no matter how cold it is ,and maybe a bass if it’s a nice day
