You may be able to get that repaired unless its very bad.
Maybe contact the like of Viking Marine to see what they can supply. You will get cheaper alternatives to the Mercury one.

Thanks. Got my Marina spot in Poolbeg sorted yesterday but have to wait until Monday as they have to move a boat out for me.
I can't tow with my car and the only other option I've been given is to get a truck to bring it to poolbeg. I've be quoted 450€ by one place
and they won't drop the boat into the water, just to the marina. Anybody know any other options? It's in Athlone.

What weight is the boat? It might be cheaper to get a tow bar fitted to your car!

Tow bar fitting it about 250€. I drive a 1.4 Golf, can only really pull a tonne and the boat is 1200kg dry without a trailer.

Another quick Q.
The boat currently has a large awning on it, do I need to take that off before getting it towed?
Will it rip in the dine or anything?

If the awning is in good condition and all the fittings that connect to the boat are there then there should be no problem leaving it up.

I got given two props, different pitches to each other and different to current one.
The both look like they'll fit but I'm not 100% sure what I'm look at.

This is a direct replacement for the current one: https://marineparts.ie/aluminium-3-blad ... n_id=43222

Thoughts? Can I fit one of these? Also, what's the best pitch for stability?

Thanks. Going to see if I can get the 19p fitted. It's a very tight marina so something that can maybe give me a faster burst might be of use

Just an update.
Bought a FF and have navi' on tab, all fitted. Gave boat a nice clean, fitted rod holders and laid a new floor.
The engine is actually 135hp 3ltr petrol engine, so it moves, which is lovely. Had a mechanic look at it and fit a new
prop and FF, saif engine was in great condition. Got a spot in Poolbeg too, it's a tight marina but they gave me a good spot
