Giant Blue Fin Tuna

#1 Post by kieran »

Hi all

Sean K has sent me a 4 minute video of lads off Mayo practically hand feeding Giant Blue Fin Tuna.
Would anyone know how to edit it to remove short bits that show the location?
If we can do that, I'll post a link here.

Absolutely awesome footage, a whole shoal of them, some 6, 8 maybe 10 feet long, swiping fish off the surface.
Poor old Fungie never had it so good!

Your link doesn't seem to be quite right Kieran, doesn't work for me anyway. This one does though:

Beautiful, graceful big animals. Brilliant video, thanks for the link.
It's fantastic to see them back after such a long absence. Let's hope that we can protect them now and re-establishing our marine environment and all round fisheries

That is class. Would love to see tuna like that. They say they are at the end of lough swilly at times too but I have never seen them.
