Bass left the Harbour yet?

#1 Post by shortcircuit »

To anyone who still has a bit of knowledge, are the bass still in the Harbour or have they headed out to sea.

I have a couple of spots in the upper harbour within my 5k and I would like to get out...

EDIT not looking for locations or more detailed info. Just a general yes / no as to whether they have left or not

I don't believe they ever leave the harbour. I think Cork harbour is basically a big nursery for bass so they tend to stick around. Ive had many a session in all winter into March where 20 bass wasn't uncommon but they were all about 1 - 2lb
