Had a duel fuel for a few years but was always worried about the time it took to cool down, missed closing time, pub, once or twice. Bought a Ring Indurance with a remote control 2 years ago. It would take 4 A size batteries that would be recharged, in the car, by the time I got home. The only thing I miss about the duel fuel is during the winter I'd gather nice flat stones about 2" in diam. and put them on on top of the lamp. they were a great way for keeping the hands warm.

just buy a decent headlamp, they are not that much dearer than a coleman anyway, (especially here) no worrying about mantles, petrol, spare mantles, etc etc . . .
Just a spare bulb for the headlamp and thats it . . .hands free too, so you can carry rods over your shoulder, one hand for bait and your other hand free (instead of carrying a coleman/petrol light)
