Burrow Beach Sutton - 14.10.2020

#1 Post by Gonzo »

When: 14/10/2020
Where: Burrow Beach Sutton
Who: Myself
Duration 19:00-22:00
High Water: 22:22
Equipment: 15ft beach rod with 9000 reel. 11ft bass rod with 4000 reel.
Rigs: 2 hook flappers with 1/0 circle hooks.
Bait/Lures: Black lug & squid cocktails.
Conditions: Chilly evening with a bit of surf.
Result: Blank

Late report but after a good 2 week or so break in my fishing due to starting college I was eager to get back out and wet a line. I decided on Burrow beach in Sutton as I wanted to try someone new! Fished up to the high tide and was surprised by how fast and how far the tide comes in here. Around 8pm I had a good bite but it didn't hook up and that was all the action I got for this session. Until next time!

Fair play getting out. I havn't been for ages now and it was my intention to get a few sessions in (but work dictated otherwise) as historically the biggest bass I've caught have all been in October.

oh yeah? that's probably what the problem is, I'll go back to normal offset bait holder hooks!
