Postage from the UK

I buy a lot of bits and pieces on Ebay, mostly from UK suppliers, rigs, small items of terminal tackle etc etc. Dont know if anyone else has noticed how long its taking for stuff to be delivered these days. Ordered some hokkais and shrimp rigs from 2 different suppliers at the beginning of June, 5th and 6th to be exact. Waited 2 weeks and contacted sellers enquiring as to whereabouts and was told by both they had been despatched. Items eventually arrived at end of last week, over 3 weeks later and had indeed been posted on 5th and 6th, by Airmail, from the UK. What the hell is going on that it takes 3 weeks to receive stuff? Anyone else having similar problems?

I have had this happen the odd time Pete but not often. Seems like when the package gets lost in the system, it get lost, big time.

Just seems to be over the past couple of moths MAC, it wasnt just those 2 items, they were just examples, its all small stuff too. Rods, reels etc get here super fast but little bits are taking forever!

I tend to agree with Peter. Small packs take forever whereas my reel was here in days. For my last small item from eBay I had to wait 4(!) weeks....

Last Feb. After 5 unanswered emails and about the same amount of phone calls I still have not got anything from them :shock: :shock: :shock:

I eventually got them on the phone and guess what. They just got them in stock this week and will send them today.

thats unbelievable - hasseling for orders is too much like hard work - and there you were thinking its a good deal - by right they should be giving you something extra or a voucher - ridiculus :x

Crazy stuff Paul, madness. Email them a link to this post when the items arrive so they can see all the neg publicity they are getting.... :D
