Tis indeed. Gonna have a go myself soon. Had baits out for them in wexford in August but didn't catch much of anything don't mind tope

I'm going to focus on the deeper Wicklow and North Wexford beaches for it alongside the early codling hopefully.

Just an update, finally got the tape measure out to the rod to compare and from butt cap to the end of the decal is 140cm, so I'd estimate the fish at about that, allowing for a bit of straightening, which Angling Addicts tells me is approximately 27lb 4oz. Delighted with that for a first tope! It looks more squashed with the compression on the photos.

That's a mighty sized fish Dave, well done!
