North Dublin beach/rocks

#1 Post by kenf41 »

Got some rag and headed for the usual spot. Thought I might be pushing my luck and may be due a blank at it but it produced again
1 flounder
1 eel
2 dogfish
1 smoothie
And 1 very surprising ray
Very happy with the results for 2 1/2 hours fishing ImageImage

Fair play Ken, great variety of species in a short session, might head up that way myself with the bit settled weather this week

Yeah delighted with the ray. Last time I caught one was at poolbeg. They make themselves very heavy

Tried Tuesday eve Ken,

Hound Bass Dog whiting, think the bigger surf might of chased the Ray away, I'll be back! Great fishing next month or so out " that way " . Defo worth targetting them with a second Rod i think.

And there's me that doesn't even like using a second hook never mind a second rod . I'll go back myself. Tonight would have been ideal but no bait and no hooks. Tackle shop tomorrow I think

Jasus. Some difference in a couple of nights. I missed another 3 that night hence getting hooks tomorrow
