BUNCRANNA PIER

#1 Post by basilrabbit »

After a very bad 14 months recurring cancer then a brain bleed stroke ,and learning to walk again got back
to fishing again.
Fished the pier on the 8th only using light 12ft carp rods , mack on wishbone rig and a 2 hook flapper.
caught two thornbacks bit of a battle on carp rod ,then dogfish 2 ended with 2 gurnard great start.
Next outing will be taking my normal beach rods along as well.
Nice to be back.

Just saw your post and am wondering is there somewhere to get bait nearby as I’ll be visiting that area next week?
