I believe so. There is also a problem in Union Hall. Cork Harbour has been suffering a while now.

I suppose it must as viz is seriously curtailed.... for humans anyway
Certainly effects the bass in the harbour down this way.

Dont say that, I was going for bass lol, high viz lures all the way. So this algea must be in all parts of the water coloum. Do it wash out on the ebb? it certainly does not wash out in areas of Cork Harbour. You might be OK in outer areas. You'll see straight away if the place is afflicted.

Its pretty bad I was there for 4 days and went around fishing in different marks and everywhere I go the algae is a pest. It was a challenge but it might be flushed out by the flush of water after this strong rains forecasted.
