North Kerry bass fishing

Hi all,

Is anyone fishing around north Kerry at the moment?
I've been fishing around Ballyheigue for the last 3 weeks and I find all my marks to be pretty much unfishable!

Never seen so much sea weed, its just everywhere in the water...I'm not getting snagged or anything but no matter what I cast the lure comes with loads of weed on it...the only few casts I managed to get the lure to stay "clean" I get Wrasse in places I used to get bass in previous years.

Is anyone experiencing the same?
