People:Myself

Duration:7:30 to 11:30

Tide: filling tide.

Weather: calm nice balmy

Bait:lug, maceral, sandeel

Rigs: 2 hook flappers

Results:5 turbot, 2 flouder.


Report: fish where small, biggest turbot was 1.5lb. turbot all taken on sandeel and mackeral. flounder on worm.

Presume you were fishing the beach Scara? I've fished culdaff many times but always either off the pier or the rocks, does the sand ever throw up anything interesting (apart of course, from the Turbot!)
Fluff chucking is the new black..... Rampant Wreckfish is a fly angler in denial :D

Well, I've seen the odd sea trout take baits aimed at flounder.....

Ive had trout,bass, turbot,flounder,plaice, dabs, LSD, collies,weavers,whiting,pouting all from the beach.
Sinking Fast.
