High tide 20:30
Fished the ebb from 21:30-23:30
From dusk into dark
SWFF

Wanted to fish the beach but due to high numbers of people, the Garda had wooden bridge closed and still hoards of people walking it. Fished estuary at rear of beach. Lots of fish breaking water and jumping. No takers on any of my flies.

There are generally a lot of mullet in the shallows . Could have been them breaking the surface

I grew up on that island and probably only caught about 4 mullet. I never really targeted them as at that time I knew where the bass were
