Equipment: 12ft beachcaster & 11ft bass rod - 3/0 single hook pulley rigs with 5oz grip leads.
Bait: Ragworm tipped with squid.
Conditions: Very strong surf & wind. Weed was a problem.
Result: Blank

I had planned fishing until 2am but after about an hour fishing my leads stopped holding bottom with the amount of weed that was quickly building on my lines, I tried to hold out but it was so bad the 5oz grip leads were instantly being swept away after casting and I spent more time pulling weed off my lines than fishing so I packed it in and went home early, maybe I'll try again tomorrow.
