Rogerstown Spinning for Bass

#1 Post by Gonzo »

When: 14/04/2020
Where: Mouth of Rogerstown Estuary on the Portrane side
Duration: 13:00-19:30
High Tide: 17:36
Lure: Blue & Silver Minnow Spinner
Result: Blank

Was down at my local bass mark yesterday with a spinner and light rod, no bites but there was another lad there spinning as well who said he caught 3 bass there last Monday on a spinner. As I was leaving there was another 2 lads setting up on the beach for bait fishing so lots of angling activity at this mark :D

Any news on the lads bait fishing.
I'd planned to try rogerstown myself but then there was no travel.
Maybe when this is over

Ah I didn't get a chance to speak to them, but I did go back to the estuary last night and a Russian lad (same guy who told me he caught 3 bass last Monday) caught a decent bass on a spinner right in front of me so the fish are there :D

You will get them as long as the easterly wind stays pounding up the beaches all along that stretch of beaches
