I use a largish fly ,that will take both species ,id have liked a bass but I’m not fussy ,doesn’t matter they always go back

Cracking sea trout, I dont many like that anymore.
Catch, release, reminisce & repeat

It’s over 10 yrs since I got one that size ,definitely a nice surprise,I had a small one nipping at the fly ,this one must have got jealous and hit it hard

beauty well done. I picked up some seatrout flies from a lad in Cork who ties them. Im going to try them with Bombarda float on spinning rod as I dont want to damage my flyrod n reel in salt water. Also i wont win prizes for distance casting lol.
Too many lures ... not enough time...

Don’t need to hit the horizon when seatrout fishing,I was working the fly behind a patch of weedy rocks about 20ft out
