Killoughter 4/01/2020

#1 Post by Daz »

Time: 17.00 - 21.00 Tide: from HW-LW.Rigs: 2 and 3 hook flapper;Bait:frozen lug, sandeel Fish: flounders,dogs,whiting,dab,5 bearded rockling. First session this year.I have to get out after christmas madness and clear the head at the front of the sea.Not travelling far from hometown - so it is east cost. Also expectations are few dogs and whiting.anythig else would be a bonus.when arriving was already dark.Warm evening with little wind.Nice conditions. Both rods out and i didn’t have to wait long till first bait.In the next few hours i would think just 3 or 4 times hooks come back without fish.so busy evening.no monsters but regularly.all fish successfully released and me full of good emotions heading home.tight lines.
