People:myself & Paul

Duration:8pm-1230

Tide:hw 9ish

Weather:strong south west breeze

Bait:rag/crab/squid/lug--spinners

Rigs:pullies

Results:2 macks 5 smoothhound

Report:macks on spinners earley on, nothing on bait until it got dark . first bite was a cracker near lost the rod lifted into the fish and it just kept going did not have to losein the drag ended up straighting the hooks , if that was not bad enough i had to listen to Paul for the rest of the night.biggest smoothhound was 3lb ish ,not a bad nights fishing.still having nightmares about the one that got away. :(

Sounds like an excellent night's fishing. I love them smoothies. I would have loved you to land that first to one to see what and how big it was??

hi lads,
don't really want to put the name of the mark up here as there is room for 3 or 4 anglers to fish in peace hope you understand.would hate to arrive down and not get to fish. we will be heading out next wed if one of you would like to tag along pm me . sorry again for not nameing the mark.
