Changing stern drive bellows

Just doing the yearly maintenance on the boat before she goes into the water, thought it might be of interest to anyone who has a stern drive.

Few pics of removing Yamaha hydra drive unit,

Hi 5turbo! The first two pics; are the "nice, shiny, clean" bits new or just well protected against corrosion, weathering etc? I couldn't help noticing the contrast in appearance. Regards, johnwest.

That is a hydraulic pump,

(no direct drive from engine to gear box, oil pressure engages multi plate wet clutch to turn lower unit)

It sits behind 2 covers hence spotless clean,
