Early season boat trip

#1 Post by keymcg »

I got the chance Sunday to try a few hours fishing with the lads from Killybegs Fishing Trips. A quick stop for mackerel on the way out and first drop we were straight into the Pollack and it was non stop action for the session with the skipper giving a master class in Pollack fishing with lead heads. Some fine fish boated with the best of them tipping the scale at 16 pound. A pb for me and one I cant see me beating for a while.Image

Yes he had nowhere to go but straight out. Then he went for the bow and when I got him to the top he headed for the bottom again. Good scrap quick pic and release
