First I’ve heard of this comp. Guess it has been staged before? Is this the biggest prize pot yet?

Is anyone on here gonna his this a go?! I reckon johnwest should

40lb+ stinger, shore skate, shore tope, 10lb+ cod

A first down this way for a comp with that kind of set-up and that much prize money. 8)

With only 1 charter boat working out of Ballycotton it will interesting to see where the other boats will come from.
Maybe the big prize money will get the Cork harbour boats to travel east.

Don't forget to factor in the weather, 4 days of calm seas off the south coast :shock:

limited to 120 entries!
That’s €600,000...
€250,000 prize money,
someone makes a nice €350,000 out of that.

I am told that they do not expect to fill this entry with Irish Anglers and expect entry from teams from abroad.
It will make for some logistical spectacle - 20 charter boats leaving and returning to Ballycotton each day (I am assuming 6 anglers per boat).

According to this article it has been called off due to "unforseen circumstances"
