Sonik sks black rods

At the suggestion of various members and given the magazines will run a mile from criticising a piece of kit, here is your chance to tell us what you really think about a rod, reel, line, lure... keep it legal please!

Sonik sks black rods

#1 Post by Andrewni »

Hi there,
Does anyone have any experience with these rods? I've been out of the game for a while but my son has recently got into fishing and he's not getting his hands on my gear!
£80 for a carbon beachcaster seems a bit too good to be true? It will be used mostly on North Coast beaches etc
Thanks

Thanks for that video, I'd found some stories of snapping but I think that may have been an early run of them

Yes, I think the old sks were blue? Dudes are casting 140 metres plus,..can't really see them snapping unless they've been damaged or dropped or knocked about, I'm sure if it did snap through normal use sonik or the supplier would replace it?
£80 is exceptional value

Tight lines
