super little rig!

a 3 hook flapper is a great little rig. great for searching out fish and produces numerous species. after a while you will find your rig wallet filling up with all kinds of variations of this rig. eventually it can get hard to choose one! a good way to improve a standard 3 hooks versatility is to use a small genie snood clip for the middle hooklenght. you can now make up loads of snoods of all kinds to clip on an off during the session. try snoods with floating beads, plastic beads, shorter or longer snoods, bigger or smaller hook sizes, etc. if u find one that works switch over to one of your premade 3 hooks with all snoods the same and bag up. it also means you can scratch for flats and target bass/ codling/etc. at the same time. a larger hook and bait on your middle hook will also boost the scent trail and will bring the smaller species to your other hooks. it also means you are more likely to experiment and not just leave the same rig on all day, unless it's working already!

the bomber is a really good flounder rig from piers, rocks, steep beaches early in the year. also good for targetting plaice with one large hook on top( size 1) and dabs with a more appropriate size 4 on bottom.
