Sligo wrasse

Beatiful weather produced beatiful fish, landed 4 wrasse and heaviest is 3.7 lbs. All fish caught on weedless lure set up. All wrasse was released to fight another day.

Some lovely fish there Zeke, but I'm not sure about the shorts and wellies look!

Some nice Wrasse there. What type of weed less lure were you using?

yip. would also be interested in your 'weedless lure setup'. particularly the size and type of lure.. any pics of the lure?

A simple Texas rig
Lures are soft plastic
Sizes raging frm 80mm to 160mm
Hook size frm 1/0 to 6/0
Line: flourocarbon 9.8kg to 27.1kg

Cheers zeke, lovely video. I'm quite surprised at the size of the lures and hooks to be honest, as wrasse don't have big mouths. Goes to show though..
Those are some fine wrasse. Nice fishing sir 8)
