Daiwa BG

#1 Post by florinc20 »

Wondering if anyone have used the new Daiwa BG spinning reel yet?
I'm planning to buy a smaller size one for a bass/pollock set up for lure fishing from shore that will be paired with a 8'6'' rod and 20lb braided line and I'd like to get some kind of feedback from anyone that had actually used it.

Cheers!

Hi florinc20 The first Diawa spinning reel I purchased and it rotted with rust after the first season fishing in saltwater .So make sure the one you are going for is a saltwater version of it.I how have some these in sizes 2.5 / 3.000/4000. And would recommend them for all saltwater work great reel.see here= https://www.anglingdirect.co.uk/sea-fis ... gKuzPD_BwE
