Ive had them from Ballygannon at the end of south beach greystones. Later in the year though. August to november.
I require a tremendous amount of calcium

you caught them in ballygannon graystones :shock: ive fished there thousands of times and never caught them what sort of rigs were u using and what distance were u fishing at i didn't now there were caught in that area may be its because i never fished for them there

Hows it going fishaholic. Just the usual stuff, 1 or 2 hook rigs 18 inch snoods with Mack or sandeel for bait. Found September the best month for them.

ill give it a go in September so Ive only ever caught them in the southwest of Ireland it would be nice to catch one closer to home i think ill get my self a bucket of crab and head off to wexford after the smoothies the weekend
