Artificial ragworm

#1 Post by alancooper »

I fished rocks at Portrush two weeks ago on an evening high tide - using artificial ragworm (gulp). Caught six colies and two gurnard in an hour. Others fishing from the same spot caught nothing. Was this just lucky or do they really work?

hi alan
I have tried the 'gulp!' peeler crabs and caught nothing on them whilst having non-stop action on another rod baited with mackerel/squid.
might be the crab profile that put them off,I think the worm shaped baits would do better where I fish.
must get some of the worm ones and try them.
