Killiney 17.12.16

#1 Post by timod »

Just a quick report from Saturday night on Killiney.
Fished a rising tide from around 21.00-00.30, fished two rods with flappers and fresh rag/mussel and frozen blacks, crab and mack.
Kept busy all night with plenty of small fish. Had a decent codling first cast on crab/mussel but not another one after that. Finished with 6 species: Codling,Whiting,Rockling,Strap Conger,Dogfish and a dab/flounder?

Good to get out (been awhile) and good busy session.

nice range of fish there, would be happy with a session like that any time over the winter
that looks like the lateral line and large eyes of a dab to me, ?

At the end of the car park, towards the tea rooms. Just on the edge of the rough stuff
