Saltwater Fly on the east coast

#1 Post by Never mind the pollocks »

Hey there folks. Having spent most of my limitied fishing time catching brownies in the liffey I have a full day off soon. I hope to spend it catching some pollock on the fly around dublin or wicklow. Wher would a newbie have success at the moment and what flys should I use? Where can I buy them. Thanks folks

There were a few specific patterns mentioned recently. Maybe a search might come up with the goods. I've not done too much fly fishing on the east coast so I can't point you in the right direction. Maybe a few other lads around might have a mark or two.
