So dragged down to kerry on a romantic weekend with the mrs so had a scout of a few likely marks on the drive down - got off early the sun morning a few houring before HW and had some nice bass on dotcrawler at range - bass were v chunky and really go this time of year. first bass hit lure seconds after it hit the water and before i closed bale arm, was daydreaming and was wondering why the braid was flying off....
Also, had a nice audience. Nice to catch the first time on a new mark.
I think i deserved it as she made me go hillwalking on the saturday, 4 1/2 hours - but the view was worth it !
