Thanks for all of the information Steve. Greatly appreciated.
I doubt I will stretch to the Illex but they sound to be the business. Maybe one for the wish list or as you say if there is a good deal going on a 2nd hand.
I think Rorys suggestion of multiple rods will be considered down the road though. Especially if the lure bug bites.
