Myself and Sean are heading off to look for some rays on Sunday from Westport, leaving 1 pm with the aim of fishing from 3pm to say 9 pm. Expect to fish up and down for HW @ 7. 3.9 metre tide forecast, light winds, N veering NW, force 1 to 3, likely to stay dry but ARCTIC COLD (what's new). There's a bit of a trek involved over farmland, maybe 20-30 minutes and there's always the possibility that we'll blank as this spot has never been fished before. Bringing the SATNAV just to find the road!
Anyone wants to come along, more than welcome, meet @ the Topaz on the RHS on the hill above Westport. Bring your own bait... and thermal everything! I may have room in the car for one or possibly two more at a push, but probably best to bring your own transport.
