FISHED:7-1130pm

LOCATION:Cunnigar

BAIT:Lug, crab, squid

FISH:3 bass (3/4lb, 2lb, 10lb+)

Arrived too early tide was miles out and TONNES :evil: of weed. didnt start fishing properly till about 9. Got 3 fish within a few casts as it was getting dark.

Love the pic mate, much of a fight..? Uaually if I get to a beach and there is weed I will move on. Will think twice before I do that again..! :D Take it the date on the camera is wrong..?

yeah the date is wrong on camera im not much use with complicated technology :oops: the last time i tryed reseting the date i deleted holiday pics was popular for that!!!!!!! so now i dont touch the thing. he swam in towards me till he was about 20yards out then went a bit crazy took down the beach for a walk brilliant :D :D .i was very close to moving out to helvick weed was that bad but with cortaz reports i said id stick it out.

Just a note
Sea Angling Ireland SAC will be having an outing to the Cunnigar on Sunday evening, July 16th.
We would be delighted to see other board regulars there too..

No was thinking of this Sat, 24th. Will most likely be fishing Tramore as Cinnigar lookis like its another hour or so drive and we will be limited for time. Im gona save Cinnigar for an early morning session. Is there an estuary near it..?

the cunnigar beach is on the west side of dungarvan bay its 2 miles long.
3 rivers empty into the bay lots of mudflats,lagoons,sandbanks,sand bars.

Holy s***.......why have I only heard of it recently..? No wonder its a good Bass spot. I have been saying this for years but I was definitly born in the wrong County..!!! Will have to get down there and fish it.
